Part of the Aga Khan Development Network, the First Microfinance Foundation offers a range of services and products to expand income-generation and economic opportunities among poor urban and rural communities in Egypt. Many of its clients are artisans, who have accessed small loans through the foundation to start or expand their businesses. The Foundation also provides expert advice on developing and marketing new products.
